Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud architectures on AWS/Azure for federal clients
- Lead migration strategies from legacy systems to modern cloud environments
- Ensure compliance with FedRAMP, NIST, and DoD security standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated cloud solutions
- Develop technical documentation and architecture blueprints
- Provide expert guidance on cloud cost optimization and performance tuning
- Mentor junior architects and conduct technical reviews
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture with AWS/Azure
- Federal government cloud project experience required
- Expertise in containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
- Advanced knowledge of identity/access management solutions
- Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Strong background in security frameworks (FedRAMP, CMMC, NIST SP 800-53)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
