Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Optimize cloud costs through architecture improvements and monitoring tools (Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management)
- Lead migration projects from on-premises to cloud environments ensuring zero downtime
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Ensure security compliance through IAM policies, VPC design, and encryption protocols
- Provide 24/7 on-call support and incident response for critical infrastructure
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct regular infrastructure code reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cloud infrastructure with 3+ years in AWS/Azure environments
- Expertise in Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Certification in AWS/Azure Solutions Architect or equivalent
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD methodologies and DevOps practices
- Proven ability to lead complex migration projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills and cloud architecture design
