Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Lead migration of legacy systems to scalable cloud-native architectures
- Optimize cloud spend while maintaining 99.99% system availability
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Develop CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and testing
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement robust monitoring solutions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud infrastructure engineering experience with AWS/GCP
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Certification in AWS/GCP or equivalent cloud platform
- Strong background in network security and compliance frameworks
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Puppet)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
