Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS/Azure cloud solutions for federal clients
- Lead migration of legacy systems to cloud-native architectures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on DevOps automation pipelines
- Ensure compliance with federal security standards (FedRAMP, NIST)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews
- Optimize cloud costs and performance metrics
- Document architecture decisions and technical specifications
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS/Azure
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Federal government project experience preferred
- Strong CI/CD pipeline implementation skills
- Certifications (AWS/Azure, Security+, or equivalent)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven ability to manage complex technical projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
