Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization and Kubernetes cluster management
- Conduct security hardening and compliance audits for cloud environments
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Implement monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana) and incident response protocols
- Drive cost optimization initiatives across multi-cloud deployments
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS/GCP certification
- Expert proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Strong background in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi)
- Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Knowledge of security best practices (IAM, network security, encryption)
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
