Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Kubernetes
- Architect cloud-native solutions for high-availability microservices
- Conduct security audits and compliance assessments (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and architecture reviews
- Optimize cloud costs using FinOps best practices and monitoring tools
- Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams on incident response automation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of AWS experience with 3+ years in cloud architecture roles
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Strong Python/Go skills for automation and tooling development
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- CI/CD mastery (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD)
- Cloud security certifications (CCSP, AWS Security Specialty)
- Experience with FinOps and cost optimization frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
