Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize AWS/Azure/GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Lead migration of legacy systems to cloud-native architectures with zero-downtime strategies
- Develop CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and monitoring (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Implement robust security frameworks including IAM policies, VPC design, and compliance scanning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud adoption roadmaps and cost optimization
- Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning for cloud resources
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud best practices and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS/Azure/GCP certifications
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and serverless architectures
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Strong background in network security and compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical certification
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder collaboration in remote settings
