Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/GCP infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for microservices architecture
- Conduct security audits and compliance certifications (SOC2/ISO27001)
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and architecture reviews
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Drive cost optimization strategies across multi-cloud environments
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (rotational schedule)
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cloud infrastructure with AWS/GCP expertise
- Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and containerization
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems
- Certifications (AWS/GCP Solutions Architect, Kubernetes CKA)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent written communication for remote collaboration
