Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP using Terraform and Kubernetes
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD
- Architect microservices solutions with Go and Python in event-driven environments
- Implement robust security protocols including IAM policies and network encryption
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural planning sessions
- Optimize cloud costs through resource monitoring and auto-scaling implementations
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to maintain 99.9% system uptime
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS/GCP certifications
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong proficiency in Go, Python, or similar backend languages
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Proven track record of designing high-availability distributed systems
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills with architectural design experience
