Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS/GCP with 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation using Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins
- Optimize infrastructure costs through FinOps best practices and resource monitoring
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud architecture patterns and security compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable microservices
- Conduct disaster recovery planning and incident response leadership
- Drive innovation through proof-of-concepts for emerging cloud technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cloud infrastructure with AWS/GCP certification
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong Python/Go scripting experience for automation
- Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Security-first approach with IAM and compliance frameworks
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving with complex distributed systems
