Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/GCP infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation with Jenkins and GitLab CI
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and architecture reviews
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Conduct security audits and implement compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Present technical roadmaps to executive stakeholders quarterly
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Proficiency in at least one cloud-native language (Python, Go, Java)
- Strong background in container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven design
- Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect)
- Track record of leading successful cloud migration projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills with complex distributed systems
