Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/Azure/GCP architectures for federal cloud migrations
- Lead security compliance initiatives (FedRAMP, CUI, NIST SP 800-53)
- Optimize cloud infrastructure costs through automated scaling strategies
- Mentor cloud engineering teams on best practices and emerging technologies
- Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform/CloudFormation
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
Qualifications
- 8+ years of cloud architecture experience with AWS/Azure/GCP
- Federal government compliance certification (e.g., CISSP, CCSP)
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS) and serverless
- Proven track record of leading $1M+ cloud transformation projects
- Advanced knowledge of cloud security frameworks and zero-trust architecture
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder management at executive level
