Responsibilities
- Architect & Scale: Design and implement robust, scalable backend services using Go and Python.
- System Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in existing systems and optimize database queries for maximum performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers and product managers to define feature specifications.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Manage and deploy applications on AWS, ensuring best practices for security and cost-efficiency.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable code and conduct thorough code reviews for the team.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and drive technical decisions within the engineering department.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on backend development.
- Language: Proficiency in Python or Go is required.
- Databases: Strong experience with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB/Cassandra).
- Cloud: Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS).
- Tools: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
