Responsibilities
- Oversee system performance, stability, and security during peak and off-peak hours (Night Shift).
- Execute and monitor complex software deployments and emergency patches without direct supervision.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for escalated production incidents and implement long-term preventative measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product) to refine backend logic and API integrations.
- Document technical architecture, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides for the night shift team.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal security protocols during maintenance windows.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development, software engineering, or IT operations.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or C# with strong knowledge of RESTful APIs.
- Experience with database management systems (SQL/NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a rotating night shift environment (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical certification.
