Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly scalable, secure, and reliable backend services using microservices architecture.
- Lead the technical strategy for database optimization, ensuring high throughput and low latency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Frontend, DevOps) to define and deliver new features.
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and establish best practices for code quality.
- Drive architectural decisions and participate in system design reviews to ensure long-term scalability.
- Debug complex production issues and implement robust error handling and monitoring systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on backend technologies.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or Java.
- Extensive experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
