Responsibilities
- Define the technical vision and architectural roadmap for The 2026 Initiative, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals.
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable cloud-native microservices and distributed systems.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including product managers and data scientists, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Drive best practices in code quality, security, and operational excellence.
- Conduct deep-dive technical reviews and architectural assessments to mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior architectural or leadership role.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
- Proven track record of designing and deploying large-scale, high-availability systems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with AI/ML infrastructure and edge computing is a strong plus.
