Responsibilities
- Lead Research Initiatives: Spearhead the development of advanced Generative AI models, focusing on multi-modal capabilities and autonomous agent reasoning.
- Model Optimization: Optimize large-scale models for inference speed, latency, and cost-efficiency using techniques like quantization and distillation.
- Paper Publication: Publish high-impact research findings in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR) and contribute to the open-source community.
- Technical Mentorship: Mentor junior researchers and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the AI Lab.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product and engineering teams to translate complex research into deployable features.
- Infrastructure Scalability: Design and implement training pipelines capable of handling petabyte-scale data and massive compute clusters.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of Deep Learning, Neural Networks, and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
- Programming: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX; experience with C++ for high-performance computing.
- Experience: 5+ years of industry experience in AI research or a comparable research institution.
- Project Management: Proven track record of managing complex research projects from conception to completion.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
