Responsibilities
- Lead the research and development of proprietary AI models focused on achieving breakthrough performance metrics for the 2026 roadmap.
- Design and implement scalable machine learning pipelines using Python, PyTorch, and distributed computing frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of product managers, engineers, and designers to translate research into user-centric applications.
- Optimize model inference speeds and reduce latency to ensure real-time user experiences.
- Conduct rigorous experimentation and evaluation of novel algorithms, including Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF).
- Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring the latest academic papers and industry trends in NLP and Generative AI.
- Mentor junior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning research or applied AI engineering.
- Deep expertise in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and natural language processing.
- Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in C++ or CUDA for performance optimization.
- Proven track record of publishing research in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ACL) or shipping high-impact AI products.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is highly desirable.
