As a key member of our R&D team, you will collaborate with cross-functional groups to deploy cutting-edge AI models, ensuring they are robust, ethical, and ready for real-world application. You will also play a crucial role in mentoring junior engineers and establishing best practices for our rapidly growing engineering department.
Responsibilities
- Architect & Deploy: Design, build, and deploy advanced machine learning models and AI systems that are scalable and high-performance.
- R&D Leadership: Lead research initiatives exploring new AI paradigms, including Generative AI and Large Language Models, to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, conducting thorough code reviews to ensure high standards across the team.
- Collaboration: Partner with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Optimization: Continuously monitor, optimize, and retrain models to ensure they remain accurate and relevant in a fast-evolving landscape.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering and machine learning, with a focus on AI.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar deep learning frameworks.
- Programming: Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases; familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues and innovate under pressure.
