Responsibilities
- Architect Scalable AI Systems: Design and implement end-to-end machine learning pipelines and AI infrastructure that can handle high-volume, real-time data streams.
- Lead Model Development: Spearhead the research and deployment of Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal AI agents, optimizing for performance and cost.
- Technical Strategy: Define the technical roadmap for AI adoption, evaluating new frameworks and ensuring alignment with the company's long-term vision.
- Code Review & Mentorship: Conduct rigorous code reviews and mentor a team of brilliant engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers, data scientists, and stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into elegant technical solutions.
- Risk Management: Identify potential biases, security vulnerabilities, and compliance issues in AI models to ensure responsible AI deployment.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years specifically in AI/ML architecture and MLOps.
- Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX; extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- AI Expertise: Strong understanding of Transformer architectures, fine-tuning methodologies, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading technical teams and driving projects from conception to successful launch.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges and optimize system performance.
