Responsibilities
- Architect and optimize 2D rendering pipelines for high-performance environments.
- Develop custom shaders and GLSL programs to enhance visual fidelity and performance.
- Collaborate closely with creative leads to translate artistic concepts into efficient, scalable code.
- Troubleshoot complex rendering issues and implement robust, production-ready solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers in graphics programming best practices.
- Stay at the forefront of 2D graphics technology to recommend and integrate new techniques.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D graphics programming or game development.
- Strong proficiency in C++, C#, or GLSL.
- Deep understanding of rendering techniques such as sprite batching, particle systems, and dynamic lighting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with 2D engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
