Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers warmly as they enter the store, providing exceptional customer service and assistance.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Merchandise products according to company standards, ensuring the sales floor is organized and visually appealing.
- Build lasting relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and loyalty.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment, receiving shipments, and inventory counts.
- Stay informed about current promotions, product features, and competitive pricing.
- Collaborate with the management team to meet daily and monthly sales goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory (we provide training).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand and move around the sales floor for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency with computers and POS systems.
