Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers warmly as they enter the store, providing exceptional customer service.
- Assist customers in locating products, answering questions, and processing transactions accurately at the register.
- Stock shelves and display areas with new merchandise, ensuring products are organized and priced correctly.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock items or potential shortages.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized sales floor, including restocking fitting rooms and cleaning registers.
- Handle cash transactions with 100% accuracy and adhere to all company policies regarding loss prevention.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure operational efficiency during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to operate a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Strong mathematical skills for accurate cash handling and price checks.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand and move around the sales floor for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work a varying schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing.
