Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive telehealth nursing services to patients across Texas via secure virtual platforms
- Conduct virtual patient assessments, develop care plans, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor patient progress, administer medications remotely, and document electronic health records accurately
- Respond to patient inquiries via telehealth portals and triage urgent cases appropriately
- Collaborate with local healthcare providers for in-person follow-up when required
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and data security protocols for all virtual interactions
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives for remote care delivery
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or ability to obtain through endorsement process
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred for advanced roles
- Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience in acute care or telehealth settings
- Valid U.S. work authorization or eligibility for visa sponsorship (TN, H-1B, or O-1 categories)
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms (e.g., Teladoc, Amwell) and EHR systems
- Strong communication skills with ability to build rapport in virtual environments
- Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and handle sensitive patient data remotely
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home workspace meeting technical specifications
