Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute the logistics of equipment relocation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and installation.
- Manage client communication, providing updates, handling inquiries, and ensuring 100% client satisfaction.
- Conduct thorough pre-move assessments to determine equipment specifications, weight, and handling requirements.
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and company protocols during all loading, transport, and unloading processes.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors, including drivers and warehouse staff, to streamline operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including inventory logs, bills of lading, and delivery receipts.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or heavy equipment relocation.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and local transportation laws in North Carolina.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing schedules or unexpected challenges.
- Valid North Carolina driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks as required by the job.
- Proficiency in using GPS tracking systems and logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
