Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on medical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations within the nursing unit.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition immediately.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Missouri (or willing to relocate).
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Eligibility or willingness to undergo the visa sponsorship process (H1B, J1, or equivalent).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
