Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care and comprehensive assessments in accordance with hospital protocols and nursing standards.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and critical situations within the unit.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Minnesota (or eligible for licensure).
- Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred, ADN accepted with relevant experience).
- Eligibility for or ability to obtain US work authorization; Visa Sponsorship is available.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred, but new graduates with J1 visas may be considered.
