Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care and comprehensive health assessments based on established nursing protocols.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic procedures in strict adherence to physician orders and hospital policies.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and social workers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation of patient records, including medical histories and treatment progress.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Respond promptly and professionally to medical emergencies and critical situations within the unit.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts (or eligibility for licensure).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain US Visa sponsorship (H1B, J1, O-1, or Green Card).
- CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Demonstrated strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong focus on patient advocacy.
