Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and nursing standards.
- Monitor patients' conditions continuously and record vital signs and medical data accurately.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Respond to medical emergencies and assist in critical care situations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Louisiana or compact state eligibility.
- BSN degree preferred; Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
- Eligibility for visa sponsorship (H-1B, TN, or J-1 visa status).
- CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred based on specialty.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
