Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in medical-surgical units following evidence-based practices
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain precise electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
- Mentor new nurses and contribute to unit best practices
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Indiana or eligible for compact license
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- Valid BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Strong communication skills and cultural competence
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Proficiency in EHR systems (EPIC experience preferred)
- Eligible for TN-1 or H-1B visa sponsorship
