Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and specialized departments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records while adhering to HIPAA compliance standards
- Provide leadership in emergency response situations and critical care interventions
- Mentor junior staff and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Contribute to patient education programs and discharge planning processes
Qualifications
- BSN degree or higher from accredited institution (foreign degrees evaluated by CES)
- Active RN license in good standing with Colorado Board of Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in acute care settings
- Valid BLS/ACLS certifications with willingness to obtain additional certifications
- Proficiency in electronic health records (Epic systems preferred)
- Excellent communication skills with proven ability to work in diverse teams
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice and patient advocacy
