Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and surgical services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures with precision and patient safety focus
- Document patient assessments and care outcomes accurately in electronic health records
- Mentor new nursing staff and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations, hospital policies, and JCAHO standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Virginia or eligible for compact license
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred for specialty roles)
- Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience in acute care setting
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Eligible for TN-1 or H-1B visa sponsorship (international candidates)
