Responsibilities
- Deliver High-Quality Patient Care: Provide compassionate and evidence-based nursing care to patients in accordance with facility protocols and state regulations.
- Administer Medications & Treatments: Accurately assess patients, administer medications, and perform treatments while monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) and patient charts.
- Collaborative Care: Communicate effectively with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to codes and medical emergencies within the unit.
- Patient & Family Education: Educate patients and their families on discharge instructions, medication management, and disease prevention.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to HIPAA guidelines, OSHA regulations, and hospital safety standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Must possess a valid RN license (or be eligible for licensure via NCLEX) from your home country with a willingness to obtain US licensure.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- English Proficiency: Strong command of the English language (verbal and written) required for patient interaction and charting.
- Visa Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the US and willing to undergo the sponsorship process.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred.
