Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop and implement a comprehensive nursing care plan.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians according to approved nursing processes and procedures.
- Monitor, record, and report patient symptoms, changes in condition, and reactions to drugs and treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary health care team members to formulate, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Provide patient and family education to ensure understanding of diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or compact state eligibility.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
- English language proficiency (IELTS 6.5+ or equivalent) required for visa processing.
- CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification preferred for specialty areas.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
