Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care through comprehensive assessments and evidence-based interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient outcomes, vital signs, and clinical notes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations utilizing advanced clinical skills.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all infection control and safety regulations.
- Educate patients and families on disease management and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of Louisiana (or eligibility for licensure via endorsement).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Willingness to participate in visa sponsorship programs for international candidates.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (ICU/Telemetry experience a plus).
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient safety and advocacy.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
