Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Document patient care activities, including vital signs, interventions, and responses to therapy.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventative care strategies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment in compliance with OSHA and Joint Commission standards.
- Respond promptly to emergent situations and critical care needs.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Eligible for or currently holding a valid work visa (H1B, TN, J-1, or Green Card) or willingness to undergo sponsorship.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
