Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing patient needs, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. You will work collaboratively with physicians and other team members to ensure the highest standard of care for our diverse patient population.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing a comprehensive nursing care plan.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient condition.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and patient safety.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Respond to emergent situations in a calm and efficient manner.
- Document all patient interactions and care provided accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current, active RN license in the State of Illinois (or willingness to relocate/license).
- BSN preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Eligibility to work in the United States (Visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is highly preferred.
