Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, detecting any deterioration or changes in condition immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (or eligible for licensure in Illinois).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (New graduates with excellent academic records may be considered).
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) for effective patient communication.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-paced, team-oriented environment.
