Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in acute and sub-acute settings with evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments while monitoring patient responses
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide patient/family education on health management and preventive care
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Supervise LVNs/CNAs and delegate tasks according to scope of practice
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or compact state (or eligibility for immediate sponsorship)
- BSN preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- Valid BLS certification; ACLS/PALS required for specialized units
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in hospital setting
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication skills in English (bilingual Spanish a plus)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Eligibility for TN-1 or H-1B visa sponsorship
