Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks using Python, Qiskit, and Cirq
- Collaborate with quantum physicists to translate theoretical models into functional software
- Optimize quantum code for performance on hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Create error mitigation protocols for near-term quantum processors
- Lead open-source contributions to the quantum software ecosystem
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics (PhD preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in Python, C++, and high-performance computing
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms and quantum error correction
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
