Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable quantum annealing systems with 1000+ qubit coherence
- Architect cryogenic control networks maintaining <10mK operating temperatures
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing stacks using Qiskit and Cirq
- Develop fault-tolerant error correction protocols for quantum memory systems
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across physics, engineering, and security domains
- Implement quantum-safe cryptographic infrastructure for post-quantum transition
- Optimize quantum resource allocation using reinforcement learning frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in quantum computing infrastructure or cryogenic systems
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction or coherence
- Expertise in Q# programming and quantum circuit optimization
- Security clearance for handling quantum-encrypted sensitive data
- Experience with IBM Quantum Experience or Rigetti Forest SDK
- Proven ability to manage $10M+ technical infrastructure projects
