Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable quantum annealing systems for enterprise clients
- Develop error-correction protocols for qubit stability at 99.9% fidelity
- Optimize quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping 2026-ready quantum applications
- Conduct research on topological qubit implementations
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on classified quantum defense projects
- Document quantum system architectures for patent submissions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in superconducting quantum system engineering
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum computing
- Experience with cryogenic engineering below 20mK
- Security clearance for classified projects (or ability to obtain)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, surface, color)
- Fluency in Python/C++ for quantum control systems
