Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing infrastructure supporting 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical architectures for enterprise-scale quantum applications
- Lead quantum error correction protocol optimization for 99.99% gate fidelity
- Create secure quantum communication networks with end-to-end encryption
- Architect scalable quantum cloud deployment frameworks with auto-scaling capabilities
- Establish quantum-safe cybersecurity protocols for post-quantum era compliance
- Mentor junior engineers on quantum computing best practices and emerging standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing infrastructure or high-performance computing architecture
- Expertise in quantum error correction, superconducting qubits, and cryogenic systems
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Strong background in distributed systems, cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP), and containerization
- Published research in quantum computing or demonstrated industry leadership in quantum projects
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into actionable technical roadmaps
