Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end quantum computing infrastructure spanning cryogenic systems, photonic networks, and classical-quantum interfaces
- Design quantum-safe cryptographic frameworks and zero-trust security models for 2026-era quantum networks
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing pipelines with <1ms latency for real-time industrial applications
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in implementing quantum error correction at scale achieving >99.99% fidelity
- Create quantum resource allocation algorithms optimizing qubit utilization across multi-node distributed systems
- Establish compliance frameworks for quantum technology governance meeting NIST IR 8100 and ISO 23859 standards
- Drive innovation in quantum cloud service architectures supporting 100,000+ qubit deployments
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of infrastructure architecture experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction protocols (surface codes, color codes) and fault-tolerant computing
- Proven track record designing cryogenic systems operating at <20mK with sub-micron precision control
- Mastery of quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit optimization
- Deep knowledge of quantum networking protocols including QKD, entanglement distribution, and quantum repeaters
- Certification in quantum security (Quantum Safe Security Professional) and cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience with high-performance computing at exascale and beyond with demonstrated quantum advantage cases
