Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems in cryptography and machine learning
- Develop error-corrected quantum architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical quantum models into practical applications
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Collaborate with government agencies (DARPA, NSF) on quantum security initiatives
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks for drug discovery and climate modeling
- Mentor PhD researchers and drive quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and fault-tolerant architectures
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, QCE)
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum error correction protocols
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and superposition principles
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and microwave control electronics
- Strong track record of securing government or corporate research grants
