Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography, materials science, and AI optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing error-corrected quantum processors at scale
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Collaborate with government agencies and Fortune 500 partners on quantum security initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates and contribute to quantum curriculum development at partner universities
- Drive patent development for novel quantum hardware and software innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of industry research experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction, superconducting qubits, or topological quantum computing
- Published record in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and high-performance computing frameworks
- Experience securing government SBIR/STTR grants or DARPA contracts
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning applications and neural network optimization
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into actionable business strategies
