Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum protocols using superconducting qubits
- Develop error-correction techniques to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and control systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Secure research funding through NSF and DARPA grant proposals
- Mentor PhD candidates and lead cross-functional research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
