Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
- Secure $5M+ in government and industry research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and simulation
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Publication record in Nature/Science or IEEE Quantum
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion qubits
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
