Responsibilities

- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure $2M+ in annual research funding through NSF and DARPA grants
- Mentor PhD researchers and lead quantum computing workshops
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years postdoc experience
- Published 20+ peer-reviewed papers in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and error correction protocols
- Proven track record of securing government grants for quantum research
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel processing frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex mathematical concepts into practical solutions
