Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and molecular modeling
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and industry conferences
- Secure federal grants and private funding for quantum research initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Translate theoretical models into practical quantum computing applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information with 3+ years postdoc experience
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, topology, and quantum field theory
- Proven track record of securing research funding ($1M+)
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Patent portfolio in quantum technologies (3+ granted patents)
